Varanasi, the religious capital of India, is a place of pilgrimage of Jain and Buddhism, along with the religious place of the Hindus. It is also known as Banaras and Kashi. Along with being India's oldest city, it is also one of the oldest cities in the world. The most interesting things are the cultural and religious beliefs associated with the river Ganga, the most sacred river in India. Around the river Ganges, this region has a different charm. There are many attractions like Ganga Ghats, where you can have the most pleasurable and heart-warming journey. Since Banaras is older than history, older than traditions, it is older than legends and when collected by all, it is twice old and attractive than from the collections.

Varanasi City

Varanasi city is mainly situated on the banks of River Ganges. The heart gets comforted by riding the boat on the Ganges coast or on the Ganges river.

Sarnath

Sarnath is the principal Buddhist pilgrimage place in 10 kilometers north-east of Varanasi. After acquiring knowledge, Lord Buddha gave his first preaching here, which is given the name of "Dharma Chakra Enlightenment" and which was the beginning of the propagation of Buddhism.

Manikarnika Ghat

Many legends associated with this Ghat are popular. The characteristic of this ghat is that there are frequent Hindu funerals, and the fire of Chita continues to burn continuously, and can never be extinguished.

Kashi Vishwanath Temple

Kashi Vishwanath Temple Kashi Vishwanath Temple is also known as the Golden Temple. This temple has the highest glory in Varanasi because here Visheshwar or Viswanath Jyotirling is established. Visiting this Jyothirling is considered more fruitful than any other Jyotirlinga.

Durga Temple

The Durga temple was built in the 18th century. Due to the presence of a large number of monkeys here, it is called Monkey Temple. According to the validity, Durga's image was not made by man but it was itself manifested in the temple. 

Dashashmeshh Ghat

Dashashmeshh Ghat is situated near Kashi Vishwanath Temple and is the most spectacular ghat. Every evening a group of priests performs worshipping in which sacrifices are offered to Lord Shiva, Ganga river, Sun Deva, Agni Dev, and the entire universe. There is also a grand aarti of Goddess Ganga.
