Probably Rock Garden is the most popular place in the city which is located in Sector one between the Sukna Lake and the Capital Complex. Some 40 years ago this garden was designed by Nek Chand, has made many artifacts from the city and industrial waste. The rock garden consists of 14 attractive chambers, including a waterfall, pool and trekking paths, which reflect innovation and imagination. Spread over 40 acres, there are many sculptures in this garden which are made of waste pieces of the materials like broken bangles, ceramic ware, wire, auto parts, and tube lights. Building garbage, food forks, play tablets, and terracotta utensils are also displayed in the garden in many forms including material, human and animal face. This wonderful garden opens every morning at 9 a.m.
